My name is Tina Abeyta, I have been the Director at All Seasons Day School for over 26 years. I have received my education from New Mexico State University, and I have continued education at CNM here in Albuquerque in the area of Early Childhood Multicultural Education (ECME). I have received my National Administrative Credential (NAC), and my Child Development Certificate (CDC).
I have realized the importance of the development of small children in the areas of their physical growth, their emotional needs, and their safety. At All Seasons Day School we serve our community of parents by creating and maintaining an environment of stability, caring and learning through play and opportunities to making choices. Our intention is to meet your child's educational, physical, and emotional needs. We offer a curriculum from experienced staff of trained teachers who collaborate with our parents to meet the individual needs of each child. We cherish the opportunity to join parents in becoming your child's first teacher.
Our program offers free nutritional meals. We accept infants six weeks of age, Toddler 1's, Toddler 2's, pre-k 3's, pre-k 4's, and bussing to before and after school. We bus to Sandia Base Elementary, Wherry Elementary, Emerson Elementary, La Mesa Elementary, and Hawthorne Elementary. During the summer months we offer our school aged children a fun and exciting summer program, taking them to parks, tours, movies, museums, zoo, swimming, library, etc. We welcome you to visit and join us!
Hello my name is Carol Armijo, I am the director of the Alvarado Day School and have been here for the past twenty-five years. I have received several credentials in the childcare field. I have continued my education at Central Community College here in Albuquerque in Multicultural Education (ECME). I have received my Child Development Associates (CDA),Child Development Certificate (CDC), 45-Hour Entry-Level Course, Mind In The Making, National Administrative Credential (NAC), CPR and First Aide certified, as well as CDV and Professionalism classes at CNM.
I love making a difference in each individual child in our Center. We believe that children learn through play and interaction with one another when provided with an enriched learning environment. I believe that it is important to provide educational training to our staff so that they can meet each child's needs according to their growth and development level. I believe that children grow and develop with the support of a staff member who is warm, loving, and able to meet each child's needs by providing a safe and fun environment.
Our curriculum programs are carefully planned to meet the needs of each individual child. A developmentally appropriate curriculum called Appelbaum Training Institute Curriculum, Infant and Toddler Early Childhood Curriculum. The learning activities in each classroom help the children to develop physically, emotionally, and cognitively at his or her own pace. Our program includes cultural awareness, language development, social interaction with other children and the development of self- help skills and problem solving skills.
Our program offers free nutritious meals and snacks. We except infants six weeks of age, and children ranging from 12 months thru eleven years of age. We have a pre-k program for ages two thru five years of age and transport school age children to school and back. We bus to the following schools; Whittier, Emerson, Kirtland, Zia and Bandelier. During the summer months we offer an exciting and fun curriculum for all ages. We offer our school age children a summer full of plenty exciting activities such as swimming, movies, zoo, museums, library, etc. We also have an open door policy and welcome you to come and visit our Center anytime.
